Hand painted watercolor pet portraits with free matting included. Made on 100% acid free heavy weight watercolor paper. Artwork can be commissioned with or without a full colored background as seen in the examples on this page.
Both styles are matted with three standard size options so they can be framed easily and inexpensively.
How To Commission A Pet Portrait
Just email a photo (or photos) through my Contact page. No down payment needed, when finished you will be emailed a link for viewing, pay only if you decide you want to purchase it. If you don't, no hard feelings, the painting becomes my property to use or sell as I choose.
Price of Watercolor Pet Portraits
Pricing includes mat and delivery. Extra charge for portraits shipped to addresses outside of Canada and continental United States.
Without Background
in 8 x 10 inch mat: $150 USD
in 11x14 inch mat: $180 USD
in 16x20 inch mat: $250 USD
Extra pet can be included in portrait for free, (smallest size suitable only for one pet)
With Background

Watercolor portraits with a background are painted in a contemporary style in landscape orientationFor Canadian customers payment can be made in Canadian dollars at the exchange rate current during the time of commission. I accept payment by money order or personal check (checks must clear before painting is shipped). Paypal accepted only if money can be deposited in Canadian currency with 3% added to price to cover Paypal fees.
Additional pet can be included in portraits without background, excluding smallest size. Full color background portraits are only suitable for one pet, but if you commission 2 or more portraits at the same time you get 10% off each portrait.
